Comment | Members of this family are the CofF, a RimK-related glutamate ligase that caps the gamma-glutamyl tail of the archaeal form of coenzyme F420, a hydride carrier. This enzyme does not appear in bacterial species, such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, that make F420 with a different type of tail. |
