Comment | Members of this protein family occur in Mycoplasma mycoides, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, and related Mycoplasmas in small paralogous families that may also include truncated forms and/or pseudogenes. Members are predicted lipoproteins with a conserved signal peptidase II processing and lipid attachment site. Note that the name for certain characterized members, p72, reflects an anomalous apparent molecular weight, given a theoretical MW of about 61 kDa. |
