CommentThis HMM describes tagatose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolases, and perhaps other closely related class II aldolases. This tetrameric, Zn2+-dependent enzyme is related to the class II fructose bisphosphate aldolase; fructose 1,6-bisphosphate and tagatose 1,6 bisphosphate differ only in chirality at C4.
