Comment | This small subfamily includes diaminopropionate ammonia-lyase from Salmonella typhimurium and a small number of close homologs, about 50 % identical in sequence. The enzyme is a pyridoxal phosphate-binding homodimer homologous to threonine dehydratase (threonine deaminase). |
