Comment | This HMM represents a family of transporters of small oligopeptides, demonstrated experimentally in three different species of yeast. A set of related proteins from the plant Arabidopsis thaliana forms an outgroup to the yeast set by neighbor joining analysis but is remarkably well conserved and is predicted here to have equivalent function. |
