CommentThis enzyme, CDP-diacylglycerol--serine O-phosphatidyltransferase, is involved in phospholipid biosynthesis catalyzing the reaction CDP-diacylglycerol + L-serine = CMP + L-1-phosphatidylserine. Members of this family do not bear any significant sequence similarity to the corresponding E.coli protein.
