CommentThis model describes phosphoheptose isomerase. Because a closely related paralo in Escherichia coli differs in function (DnaA initiator-associating protein diaA), this model has been rebuilt with a high stringency, and is likely to miss many true examples for phosphoheptose isomerase. Involved in lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis it may have a role in virulence in Haemophilus ducreyi.
